One of the books written by Rudyard Kipling is Just So Stories. This book is such a great book, especially bedtime tales for children. There are twelve short stories about the origin of animals and also human involvement in this book. Starting from How the Whale Got His Throat, How the Camel Got His Bump, How the Rhinoceros Got His Skin, How the Leopard Got His Spots, The Elephant's Child, The Sing-Song of Old Man Kangoroo, The Beginning of the Armadillos, How the First Letter was Written, How the Alphabet was Made, The Crab that Played with the Sea, The Cat that Walked by Himself, and The Butterfly that Stumped.

And this is a children's short story, which tells the origin of the behavior of animals that are packaged Rudyard in accordance with the logic of children. One of those story is The Cat that Walked by Himself.

Tell about the wildest of all the animal in the Wet Wild Woods. The Cat. He walked by himself, and all places were alike to him. Unlike the dog, the horse, and the cow that's directly according to humans, this cat makes an agreement with the woman to get his position in the cave. Until he gets his job, cheer up the woman's baby. but the cat is still The Cat that Walked by Himself and all places were alike to him.

The whole story in Just So Stories may not be one hundred percent true because the name is just a man-made tale. But the author's creativity is evident throughout the story because the origin of animals in this book is very unpredictable, has magical elements, and at the same time gives us new knowledge. At the end of each story is always closed with a piece of poetry that is closely related to the story

As a book truly intended for children this one is very good.
