    I.       Plot
    1.      Exposition       : When Clint was done after hunting oyster, he heard a bleating sound. It was an orphan baby seal. At first Clint try to wait the baby seal’s mom. But it doesn’t come. He can’t leave the orphan baby seal to storve. Then Clint carrying it home.
    2.      Rising action   : Clint was bring orphaned baby seal to his house. At first, his mother doesn’t agree that Clint bring the seal to house because it might caused a lot of trouble. But Clint promise that everything will be allright.
    3.      Climax             :  Buster often make trouble at home, and neighbours until Clint’s parents get tid on it and decide to turn the seal to the wild
    4.      Falling action  : Clint was make decision with his father that turn Buster loose and let him be a seal by spoke to Captain Johanson to take Buster loose in Gardner Sound.

    J.      Summary
    Clint, is thirdteen boy who lives in Hood Canal in the Puget Sound, Washington State. He lives with his mother who loves him, his father whose a loggers, and his aunt, Aunt Harriet. In the morning Clint went to the beach for sailing. He promise that he’ll be home before it’s dark. He met his friend Old Joe, sixty five years old man who gives Clint a creature in the jar. Then he met the big blond fisherman and his friends, who tells Clint that they have killed seals. When Clint was done after hunting oyster, he heard a bleating sound. It was an orphan baby seal. At first Clint try to wait the baby seal’s mom. But it doesn’t come. He can’t leave the orphan baby seal to storve. Then Clint carrying it home.
    Clint was bring orphaned baby seal to his house. At first, his mother doesn’t agree that Clint bring the seal to house because it might caused a lot of trouble. But Clint promise that everything will be allright. In the next morning Clint and his father stared in wonder that last night there had been a white seal on brown gunny sacks; now there was a mottled gray and-white seal on a bed of white. Next morning his aunt ask Clint about his friends and hobbies, she told  Buster will be good company when he grows up. Yeah, Clint’s friend. In the barn buster was making little problem. Clint slapped buster and drove him out of the barn. But Buster didn’t take the lesson to the heart. He accepted being slapped and hustled out. Buster was intelligent, active and full of fun. But bring Buster to the barn isn’t a good idea. Then, school was out. Clint and his friends; Len Decker, who was a year older than Clint, with his young brother Phil; and George Lawson, who was Len’s age, but smaller and quieter. They decide to go swimming and going to see Buster’s first swim because Clint haven’t been giving him swimming lessons. They going swimming at Pleasant Harbor. But at the end Buster was still a land animal. Buster doesn’t ready to swim.
    In the morning summer, when the radio was playing, Buster was swaying his raised head in time to the music. Clint’s father think that Buster are supposed to be musical and never be a swimmer that’s a joke. When Clint and Buster were in the beach, they saw two seals passed like powerful swimmers. Then they found many geoduck that will be the scientific studying for Clint. And Clint was make report about it. Although it caused little problem to Clint’s boat. Clint must swim. He try to teach Buster to swim. Buster was worried before, after Clint saying Here, Buster! Many times, there was another snort and Buster was gliding toward him with his head raised proudly. Buster was did it. He can swim.
    When Buster had become a great swimmer, Clint had feared it would end their companionship. Instead ut had been more like a beginning. On these summer days they were together almost all the time from sunrise to late dark. Buster help the Clint’s job, splitting shakes. After finish the job, Clint’s father tells about the gold in Johnson River. Clint thinks that the gold of the Johnson River had been almost close enough to touch. He thaught that someday they would go after it and make it real.
    Going back to school hadn’t turned out as Clint had feared. The worst part had been worrying about what might happen to Buster while he was away. He had told to his neighbors for miles in every direction that Buster was his pet seal; they wouldn’t hurt him. But there was always the danger of his being shot by a stray hunter or fisherman. Buster had never disappointed Clint, but in these days of autumns rains the boy had to disappoint the seal. At each home-coming, and when he refused because the weather was to cold and wet, the seal would pretend to fall over dead with disappointment. Buster wasn’t around this afternoon. Clint was worrying about him. But at the same time Clint got a letter from Aunt Harriet about Clint was being accepted as student in University at departement that studies the ocean. Somewhere in his mind he thought the letter was the biggest thing that had ever happened to him. But it had come at wrong time, when he was to worried for anything about Buster to seem important. Then Clint go to the beach to look around. His father followed him until both of them were in four hundred feet of water. They met a lot of killer whales. Clint and his father managed to escape from killer whales. At home, Clint remembered with sudden dread that killer whales come into Puget Sound after seals. He thought that Buster were in danger.
    Clint’s dogs, Wolf and Jerry was found Buster wounded. He’s been shoot. Then Clint play the radio that would help quiet Buster while his mother and his father taking care of Buster. Clint’s father told that Buster and Clint is growing up. If Buster doesn’t grow into seal and Clint into a man something will be wrong. But Clint didn’t want to grow up; not yet, anyway. Clint was make decision with his father that turn Buster loose and let him be a seal by spoke to Captain Johanson to take Buster loose in Gardner Sound.
     Clint met Profesor Wills and his wife that visiting the Clint’s house. Professor Wills was checking Clint’s bedroom. There are a lot of ocean things there like dried candlefish that can give a lovely light. Then Profesor Wills were look out Clint’s notes about Buster. Professor Wills told that Clint can be an oceanographer. After Professor Wills and his wife was done visiting. Clint were thinking about Buster on the Snow Queen. Thursday afternoon was a stormy day. Ot’s about a weeks since Buster were put in Gardner Sound. Clint got a letter from Captain Johanson that told Buster was a good passenger and he made friends with everyone. Clint knew that Captain Johanson would get Buster safely. Clint was readthe ending of the notes which given from Professor Wills that offer the list of high-school subjects for majoring in oceanography. While Clint sitting at supper with his mother and his father, Clint thoughts were interrupted by a rattling of the window. There was as seals’s happy, whiskered face. He was knocking on the glass with one flipper. It is Buster. Buster was swam a hundred miles to go to home. Clint asking for his mother to give a chance for Buster. His mother doesn’t agree at first, then Clint promise that Buster will not gets into trouble again.
    Buster was gone again. Clint might search for hours without any luck. That would be the last straw. Phone is rang. Clint’s father answered it. It was sheriff that complain about seal that making any problem. Clint’s parent doesn’t blame it but Buster is a fine seal but he just doesn’t fit in. They’ll get rid of him. First the we’ll have to catch Buster. In the next morning Buster was found bothering the fisherman sailing.
    It’s been a long time since Clint’s friends Len, Phil and George met Buster. Buster had a new friend called Harry. Harry got an accident, but Buster can brought him out from the boom. Clint’s father are not going to get rid of Buster. But it seemed to Clint that there was still a shadow over Buster, and that neither of them could do anything about it.
     After visiting Decker’s house Clint and Buster met Tim Martin, and Joan whose Professor Wills’s friends. They knew Clint from his paper on geoducks. Buster likes people but most of fisherman would try to kill him if he were free in the Sound. And maybe would be able to take Buster to the zoo. But Clint won’t give him up. Mr. Ives can take Buster.
    Clint was offered by Professor Wills to read his paper at a meeting to Professor Wills’s student. Suddenly he knew why he didn’t want to read his paper at the meeting. It’s because Buster. Clint think that it’s really his paper; he did all things Clint wrote about. Now he don’t even know where Mr. Ives took Buster. But Aunt Harriet told Clint that Buster was having fun at Ocean beach Aquarium that available in newspaper highlights. Clint feel glad. Then he continue to read the paper for Professor Wills
